Why has my baby’s sleep routine changed?
How much, how often and when babies sleep can change from time to time. Sometimes, that can mean your child settles into a routine that you and your family adjust to – only for sleeping patterns to change and the household has to adjust all over again!
It’s quite natural for sleep patterns to change: a lot of time it will be because your child is growing and developing. Babies especially need more sleep during periods of rapid growth, and when they use lots of energy learning new skills such as crawling and walking. You may also find your baby’s routine changes when they’re ill, are teething, or reacting to changes in the family routine.
